Spent a cosy Sunday evening...

We had our first snow over the weekend. For a full day, everything was blanketed in white; the tot was absolutely enthralled and so were we. In the way fresh starts go, I tweaked a few things in the planning department, including setting up this foldable weekly task list, leaving more room to plan my days and break down tasks. We had our first snow...

Happy 2021! I love the feeling January brings — a cosiness to the cold days and grey skies (requiring hats and gloves outdoors, and blankets draped on sofas inside), a chance to start anew (whether you\'re one for resolutions or not), and for tying up loose ends so that the book of the past year can be firmly closed and shelved. Happy 2021! I love the...

Over the last few weeks, a full night\'s sleep has been such a rarity, we\'ve started to wonder if there ever was a time Before Tiredness. If so, we\'ve almost certainly forgotten what it looked like and, at least on my end, there\'s been an inordinate amount of holiday chocolates consumed. Now, with December drawing to a close, the time has come to dot the i\'s and cross the t\'s, and the lists of things still-to-do — worked on in the early evening, when the tot does his only long stretch of sleep — feels never-ending.
