Sometimes, time really does seem to fly by at an alarming rate, and this week was no different. I can’t believe it’s already almost over, when it feels like Monday was only yesterday. Today, I’m sharing four things that made my week just a little brighter.
/ Michael McIntyre’s Christmas sketch. Michael McIntyre is easily my favourite stand-up comedian, and this oh-so-true, 5-minute sketch about Christmas, Sellotape and scissors is just one of the reasons why.
/ A Simplified Life, by Emily Ley. Emily Ley is a mum to three children and the creator of the Simplified Planner; I’ve been following her account on Instagram for over three years now, and I love her personality. I’ve read her previous book, Grace Not Perfection, two times now, and the follow-up, A Simplified Life, just arrived yesterday. Although I’m still knee-deep in my autumn reading list, I simply can’t wait to read this one, too.
/ One Born Every Minute. This documentary-style show follows the parents-to-be and the maternity ward staff at hospitals all over Britain. It’s such a sweet show and it’s become a fast favourite of mine.
/ This knitted light grey polo-neck jumper from H&M. I bought this jumper, a size too big, during the Black Friday sale and I’m so glad I did. It’s warm, it’s comfortable, it’s oversized and it’s just perfect for those chilly winter mornings.
